Review Criteria and Submission Requirements

Deadline for submission: 8 May 2009

REVIEW CRITERIA

The conference committee will assess submissions according to the following criteria:


Presentation Criteria

1. Addresses participants' needs
2. Practical and applicable to the workplace
3. Topical/Relevance: High interest, hot topic or current issue
4. Is this the first time the topic has been presented to a conference audience?
5. Learning objectives clearly written and relevant


Presenter Criteria
1. Author is qualified to speak on this topic
2. Author has relevant credentials related to topic
3. Author has conference presenting experience


Please note that although we welcome submissions from exhibitors at Online Information there are strict guidelines that you will need to adhere to in order to be considered.

Points are awarded for clearly written, concise abstracts.  Click here for example abstracts illustrating correct format, length and structure. 


SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. All submissions must include: 
• Proposed presentation title
• Proposed presentation theme, based on those listed here
• Please specify type of presentation content: research results/case study/technical tutorial/strategy review/opinion-debate/other, please specify…….
• Has the paper been presented before?


2. Submission details:
• 300-500 word proposal in sentence format outlining main introduction to issue/topic
• Include main content outline, key conclusions/arguments
• Clear reference to any supporting materials (research reports, case studies etc.)
• List three key learning points i.e. what skills or knowledge will participants walk away with


3.  Biographical details in sentence format (no CV's please):
• Include career, professional interests, publications, memberships and previous speaking engagements (200 words max.)
