International Visitors

Information on the 2008 international events will be published in September.  The events that ran at Online Information 2007 included the following:

New!  If you are a Spanish visitor visit the Spanish Information Point which you will find on the exhibition floor  - stand 732.  Get together, hear presentations and poster sessions from Spanish information experts, as well as chatting and relaxing with fellow Spanish colleagues.  Scroll down for more information.

If your from the Nordic countries, Germany, France or The Netherlands then why not attend one of the sessions below which will offer you the opportunity to hear international information practitioners speak on topics specifically related to your national information community. Following the presentation, you'll have the opportunity to discuss topical issues raised in your native language. Sessions are free to attend.

Speaker: Sami Viitamak, Finland
Sami Viitamäki has in recent years been heavily involved in digital marketing and customer collaboration through both work and research and is also finalizing his thesis study on the topic of crowdsourcing. His work on the field is recognized among many industry professionals as relevant and timely take on the issues of building collaboration communities online.
He is currently developing digital marketing at TeliaSonera Finland, but is also a member of the Finnish digital marketing forum Divia and a partner at digital marketing consultancy Vork Helsinki.
