Arriving onsite - main conference

All speakers, moderators, committee members, panellists and workshop leaders receive complimentary registration to the three day main Online Information 2008 conference.
You should register at the Speaker Room, Room 309, Level 3, Olympia Conference Centre, Hammersmith Road, Olympia, Kensington.
Directions to Olympia
When you arrive at the Conference Centre you should take the lift to Level 3. The Speaker Room is clearly signposted from the lift exit. Please DO NOT join the queues at the main conference registration desk, this is for delegates only.
The Speaker Room will be open at the following times:
Tuesday 08.30 – 17.30
Wednesday 08.30 – 17.30
Thursday 08.45 – 15.45
Here you will be given a badge which acts as your conference pass allowing you unlimited access to all conference and exhibition areas. You will also receive a file containing the conference documentation.
Please ensure you have introduced yourself to the organisers at least 30 minute prior to the start of the conference session in which you are speaking.
What happens next?
Once all session participants have arrived and have been introduced to each other, the conference orgainser will escort everyone to the relevant conference room where:
• speakers will be given the opportunity to test their slides and other AV equipment
• the conference organiser will run through the session timings, seating arrangements and give any final additional briefing to moderator and speakers.
Arriving onsite – workshop leaders
Monday 1 December 2008
All workshops will take place on Monday 1 December at Olympia Conference Centre. On arrival make your way to the lifts and go up to level 3.
The organisers will be onsite by 08.00 and available in speaker room 309 (this will be signposted once you are on level 3). Please make yourself known to the organiser on arrival. You will receive a badge, conference bag and conference proceedings. Your badge acts as entry to the three day main conference so keep hold of it!
Workshops begin at 09.30 with delegate registration starting at 08.30. You are advised to arrive by 08.30 at the latest to run through the day’s timings with the organiser, to check audio-visual equipment, handouts and confirm any other logistics.
Please do call the organisers if you are stuck in traffic! You will be emailed a contact number prior to the event.
