Online Information 2010

Online Information is now over for this year and we would like to thank all our exhibitors and visitors for their support of the show. We had some very challenging weather and travel conditions during the show and so would like to add an extra thank you to those of you who made it to Olympia. To view a video of the event click here.

Despite the weather, the event once agained showcased some of the best products and services available for the information and information management and our visitors had the chance to hear from our expert speakers in the show floor seminar programme. Papers which have been submitted from these sessions are now available on our website. Click here for more information.

At the Online Information 2010 Conference the winner of the IWR Information Professional of the Year 2010 was announced. Click here to find out who won and why!

Here are just a few reactions from our exhibitors at the show:

"I didn't have time to have lunch until 4.45pm on the first day.  We just haven't stopped.  Online is the ideal place for us to meet publishers and distributors.  We've experienced interest from some major organisations this week and many of our customers have made a point of coming to see us on the stand. " Anne Kail, Sales Director, CREDO Reference

"We decided to exhibit at the last minute and I'm delighted we went for it.  The event attracts a truly international audience and the fact that the show is about much more than library management systems works for us."  Jane Webber, Softlink

"This is without doubt the place to be for anyone working within Online Information.  Most people we've seen are potential new customers although we have seen some existing clients too.  Exhibiting  has been very useful for us and it's important to be seen to be here.  We agree with the view heard repeatedly this week - that if you are not at Online Information exhibition then you are not in the industry."
Ben Clarke, eMedia Executive, Nikkei Europe

"We've had a good show and support it regularly.  We've sponsored the XML pavilion for the second year running which successfully increases our profile within the event.  We always meet lots of good customers and partners.  Online Information is a well organised event." Gwen Morgan, Marketing Manager, Mark Logic, UK

"This is our first Online Information.  We have made the most of the opportunity to gauge the state of the market and establish where we fit within it.  We have also used the event to promote our new product Tera Digital Publish." Paul Turton, Miles 33

"Online is the place to come for industry networking.  We work hard to ensure we maximise our presence at Online Information and build awareness.  We use a multi-channel approach - for example, sponsoring the Piazza and focusing on various pre-show promotion opportunities.  I also feel the positive effect of the cold weather and snow is that the show has delivered an even more qualified audience than ever.  This year we have experienced a high level of genuine and very relevant visitors which I think is due to the fact that the people who are visiting the show this year need to be here - they are not here speculatively."  Claire Barker, Lexis Nexis

Our 2011 event is now being planned and our website will be live in the spring. Dates for 2011 are  29 November - 1 December at the
National Hall, Olympia, London
