HighWire Launches Six Mobile Web Sites in Collaboration with the American Heart Association

HighWire Press is pleased to announce the launch of the HighWire Mobile Web Interface for six American Heart Association journals. The Mobile Web Interface is a publication website optimized for the small screen of smartphone devices. This is the first of a suite of mobile products from HighWire, which includes an iPhone and iPad full text app as well as a RSS-driven iPhone app and full text Amazon Kindle support. International Trade in Services

In 2009, EU27 external trade in services slowed down compared with 2007 and 2008. EU27 exports of services to the rest of the word fell by 10%, from 524 billion euro in 2008 to 473 bn in 2009, and EU27 imports by 8%, from 446 bn to 409 bn. As a result, EU27 trade in services recorded a reduced surplus of 63 bn in 2009, compared with surpluses of 78 bn in 2008 and 87 bn in 2007.

Inspec to introduce citations in 2011 To enhance retrieval for researchers, Inspec is adding cited references from articles it covers from the end of 2010. Inspec vendors will load these during 2011. The functionality will vary from platform to platform but where available each citation will have links to the matching Inspec record and a DOI link to the full-text of the referenced work. It should also be possible to carry out searching for articles that cite a particular article and look for related records via citation links.
