Jan Magnusson (b. 1948) is a librarian at Chalmers Technical University, Gothenburg, Sweden and teaches Information Literacy. He has been affiliated to the library in different positions since 1989 and has for some time simultaneously been a PhD student in Comparative Literature. He has followed the growth of computer knowledge since 1985 when he first bought a personal computer of his own. Social media and internet presence are important new developments in education as are apps and mobile units.
